6. Your privacy rights (US)

Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and others with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to:

  • know and access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • get a copy in a portable format;
  • opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising, and of profiling;
  • not be discriminated against for using these rights.

California residents:

  • In the past 12 months we have collected the categories in section 1: identifiers, internet activity, approximate geolocation, and inferences (interest tags).
  • We have not sold personal information for money.
  • If we run ad pixels, that may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out by emailing us with the subject “Do not sell or share”. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out.

To use any right, email hello@recoverymath.com with the subject “Privacy request”.

  • We’ll verify your request by confirming access to the email address involved, and respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days).
  • An authorised agent may make a request for you with your written permission.
  • If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We’ll answer the appeal within the legal time limit.
